SFWMD Issues Water Shortage Warning

🚨 Water Conservation Alert 🚨

The South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) is currently asking residents and businesses to follow voluntary water use restrictions due to declining water levels.

💧 At this time, conservation efforts are voluntary — but your participation is important.

If voluntary measures are not enough to reduce demand, SFWMD may declare a Water Shortage Order, which would implement mandatory water use restrictions in critical areas.

Water use restrictions are designed to:
✔ Protect our public water supply
✔ Prevent serious harm to water resources
✔ Ensure water remains available for essential needs

We encourage everyone to take simple steps now to reduce water use, including limiting irrigation, checking for leaks, and avoiding unnecessary outdoor watering.
