Treasure Island Septic to Sewer Project

Engineering Phase:

This project will provide a Preliminary Design  Report (PDR) that will utilize data that was prepared by others  (Eckler Engineering) in October  2016,  along with the off-site force main hydraulic model and associated  Environmental Assessment.  The project will also include the preparation of design  plans, permitting  and bidding assistance utilizing a vacuum  sewer system for the elimination  of septic tanks within the Treasure  Island area and a lift station/force main in Kings  Bay area for the abandonment of the existing WWTF.  

To meet the OUA's  project funding schedule,  the project will be designed  in either two (2) or three (3) phases,  defined as the North System  (Phase  1) and South System (Phase 2), with  Kings Bay possibly being Phase 3. The force main and associated  pump stations  will either be a sub-phase  or a standalone phase.  The final  phasing will be determined as part of the PDR.
